During the competition, one of the participants, a charity swimmer Viktor Melnikov, intends to collect 1,000,000 rubles. for seriously ill children from the Samara region - wards of the RusFund. Victor Melnikov - the only charity swimmer in the swim. He is a coach, master of sports, a champion of the Central Federal District of Russia in 2010, a national record holder in daily swimming - he covered 61 km in 24 hours. Every day, Victor will broadcast his swim in social networks and remind fans that they can donate donations for the treatment of seriously ill children - the wards of the RusFund bureau in the Samara region.

I decided not only to run the distance, but also to attract as many funds as possible to help 11-year-old Violetta Bezugla. Violetta is a cheerful, active, talented girl from Krasnodar. She sings, studies in a theater studio, studies well and dreams a lot. For example, he dreams of becoming a translator from English. And also - about the active prosthesis of the forearm and hand, because the girl was born without her right hand. Viola's family has many children, and his parents cannot buy him, and only heavy, uncomfortable cosmetic prostheses are given for free in the Krasnodar Territory. To help Violetta, she needs to collect 275,549 rubles. But I know that there are still a lot of children with such problems, and I hope that together with other participants in the Ugreshskiye Runs we will raise enough money for Rusfond to help several more children.
