In my third swim in open water, I set myself not only a personal sporting goal, but also a charity task! I hope that you support me in this :)) I am very afraid of open water, despite my swimming achievements in my whole life. At the start, panic grips me, my pulse quickened, I can’t breathe and lower my head into the water. I lose about 15 minutes to recover and catch the rhythm. During this time, everyone overtakes me and it hits my ego. After 3 weeks, I have to swim 6 km, along 3 islands. Currents, winds and waves are quite capable of making my challenge even more interesting. It will take about 2-2.5 hours, during which the mind will constantly ask me why did I get involved in this. And I will answer him that: With my swim I want to help Golubova Ola in her desire to learn how to walk. And maybe one day she will swim in open water, because she already has 3 adults in swimming! The purpose of the collection: a course of treatment in the medical center "Academy of Health" Olya has cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia. Hypoxic-ischemic damage to the central nervous system After numerous rehabilitation courses, she has good results. The girl walks independently on canes, is engaged in a sports school and has the 3rd adult level in swimming. Olya is a fourth-grade student in a regular high school, a round student, and a very positive and sociable child. In the classroom near her desk at the break, guys always gather and chat about everything in the world. This academic year, Olga began to go to the art studio, because in the future she wants to become a fashion designer, she has a lot of thoughts and creative ideas. Parents are sure that their daughter will succeed, because she is very purposeful and strong. Unfortunately, spasticity, which strongly affects the muscles of the legs and arms, does not allow Olya to move fully, she fetters her when moving on the canes, and in recent months the girl often began to move in a wheelchair. Cerebral palsy is not a sentence. Its consequences can be minimized, and give the child a chance for a full future. The main thing is timely and regular rehabilitation.
